Operation Stolen Innocence

November 17, marked the conclusion to a large-scale human trafficking investigation conducted by the Tallahassee Police Department over the last two years. This in-depth and thorough investigation resulted in the arrest of more than 170 people on charges ranging from solicitation of prostitution to human trafficking of a minor. These names are the subject of litigation filed on June 12, 2020, by the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) and John Doe, a Florida citizen, against the City of Tallahassee, Circuit Court Case Number: 2020 CA 1011. A petition for Declaratory Judgment, Mandamus Relief and Injunctive Relief was filed by the PBA based on Marsy’s Law.
