Information Sought about Traffic Incident on Capital Circle NW

At approximately 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to the area of Capital Circle Northwest and Tennessee Capital Boulevard in reference to a traffic crash involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian stepped into the roadway attempting to walk across Capital Circle Northwest. When the pedestrian stepped into the roadway, they were struck by a pick-up truck and fell to the ground. The pedestrian was then hit again by another vehicle. Responding officers and Leon County EMS began life-saving measures. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries on scene.
TPD's Traffic Homicide Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash but did not speak with an officer on scene or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit.
